I regularly imbibe pure frequency-substance from Mr. Chartier, having collected a number of his recordings, and this is one of my favorite ones. So lyrical and...apt... are all the little parts and pieces. Everything has never been in this much of a right place. Considered sound, concise statement, well-met communique. One of those special records that is just as much music as it isn't, and continues to be there for me when disconnection is paramount. Thank you, Mr. Chartier.
