This album will grow on you. Listen in headphones or earbuds. It will blow your mind. Steve has so many amazing textures and dimensions on this release. It's hard to pick a favorite track. Probably in his top 5, if there is such a thing. 53Guitarman
Soon to become among my most-played albums. Would like to have on vinyl. Originally, I'd sprawled down to listen to this in headphones and after the first part--which functions as an apt reminder to live with awareness of uncertainty--was taken aback by the second, which retains the wave-like repetitious atmosphere of the first but with a much darker tone, unexpectedly reminding me in spirit of Wereju's 'Under the Receding Wave'. What follows the second part? The sunrise.. perhaps! L
Tape and guitar loops combine to create mesmerizing atmospherics, like watching the Northern Lights ripple in the sky. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 16, 2022
From the always-excellent label Past Inside the Present comes this stunning work of sustained tone and timbre. Gorgeous. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2022
The post-New Year hiccup pause, where the Old is sleeping & the New is yet to hatch. Here we stand, watching the horizon line, listening to the soundtale of everything we know. orlandolovekill
